Latiker Capital Fund I, LLC
was created to identify, acquire and operate a private company that serves Fortune 500 customers across select segments of the energy industry. Our leaders are executing a “Buy, Build & Harvest” strategy that will create a Tier 1 Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) and position it to create wealth for owners, investors and employees. Our approach to creating value is simple: Use the acquired platform to help energy companies become Supplier Diversity & ESG leaders. We will execute an MBE strategy that is proven to increase MBE spend and help diverse suppliers thrive.
The target platform company
will be U.S. based and have an enterprise value expected to be between $50 million and $200 million at acquisition. Latiker will fund the acquisition through a variety of sources, adhering to a conservative use of debt and equity, including investor capital, bank debt, institutional subordinated debt and seller financing as required.
Latiker has an experienced team
of corporate executives, advisors and capital partners with decades of operating and investment experience. The team is led by Greg Ward, an energy executive and Independent Sponsor with deep experience gained within Fortune 50 and middle market energy firms. We will execute our strategy by pursuing organic growth and add-on acquisitions.
Fortune 500 Companies have a Major MBE Spend Opportunity
PROBLEM #1: Minority Business Enterprises (MBEs) are typically smaller firms that lack the operational, organizational and financial resources required to effectively serve the needs of Fortune 500 clients.
PROBLEM #2: FORTUNE 500 Companies and smaller firms often lack the supplier diversity “success know-how” required to help diverse suppliers thrive within their supply chain.
We identify companies for acquisition by leveraging our proprietary network of owners, executives and advisors. We also partner with select corporations to identity companies in their supply chain that fit our criteria.
